Divination Orb Necklace

The Divination Orb Necklace holds a natural clear quartz sphere, suspended to catch, bend, and reflect light as it moves. As light passes through the orb, it forms tiny inverted reflections of its surroundings. Suspended from the chain, the quartz sphere references the divination pendulum, traditionally used as a tool for inquiry, focus, and intuitive guidance.

In antique jewellery, quartz spheres were known as Pools of Light, and were believed to hold trapped spirits or act as windows into the past, present, and future.

Handmade in Hobart, Tasmania, the Divination Orb Necklace is made from solid Sterling Silver and natural clear quartz. The quartz sphere is held in a Sterling Silver cap and bail, leaving the orb visible from multiple angles so light can pass through the stone and reveal its optical qualities.
