Lauren Harris is a Tasmanian jeweller with more than 30 years of experience in fine jewellery making. Beginning her apprenticeship in 1992, she was trained in traditional hand-making techniques and continues to combine these skills with contemporary processes and her own evolving approach to design.

Inspired by a lifelong connection to the sea, Lauren works with recycled precious metals and a strong focus on Australian gemstones, including Killiecrankie Diamonds, as well as New Zealand Blue Pearls and other rare and unusual materials. Provenance and story are important to her practice, alongside creating jewellery designed to be worn, kept and passed on over time.
