Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

If there is a problem with your purchase, please contact us at sales@findcollective.com.au with details of the issue so that we can determine the appropriate repair, replacement, refund or other remedy.

Faulty Items

If you believe an item is faulty, please contact us before returning it. We may ask for photographs or other details so that the issue can be assessed.

The remedy available will depend on the nature of the fault and your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. For a major failure, you may be entitled to choose between a refund or replacement. For a minor failure, the item may first be repaired or otherwise remedied within a reasonable time.

If an item is confirmed to be faulty, FIND Collective will reimburse reasonable return postage costs where applicable. Please keep your postage receipt.

Refunds are not confirmed until the item has been assessed.

Exchanges for Style

FIND Collective offers exchanges for change of style in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

Jewellery may be exchanged for another piece by the same artist within two weeks of receiving your purchase, provided the item is unworn, undamaged and in its original condition.

Please contact us before returning an item so that the exchange can be approved and the availability of an alternative piece confirmed.

Customers are responsible for shipping and re-shipping costs associated with change-of-mind or style exchanges.

Exchanges or Alterations for Size

An exchange or alteration for size may not be possible for one-of-a-kind or individually made designs.

Where resizing or alteration is possible, an additional fee may apply. Please contact us to discuss the piece before returning it.

Custom and Commissioned Jewellery

Custom and commissioned jewellery is arranged directly with the individual FIND artist.

Terms relating to changes, cancellations, returns and alterations will be discussed with you by the artist when the work is commissioned or ordered.

Your rights under Australian Consumer Law continue to apply where applicable.

For change-of-mind exchanges, items must be returned unworn, undamaged and in their original condition.

Cash on Delivery returns cannot be accepted..

Return Shipping Costs

For change-of-mind or style exchanges, customers are responsible for all return shipping and re-shipping costs.

For items believed to be faulty, please contact FIND before returning the jewellery. If the item is confirmed to have a fault covered by Australian Consumer Law, reasonable return postage costs will be reimbursed where applicable.

Processing Refunds and Exchanges

Approved refunds and exchanges will usually be processed within 5 business days of the returned item being received and assessed.

Once a refund has been processed, it may take an additional 3–5 business days to appear in your account, depending on your financial institution.

Repairs

Repairs required as a result of wear, accidental damage or other non-manufacturing issues are assessed individually and may incur a fee.

Customers are responsible for shipping and re-shipping costs associated with these repairs.

If the repair relates to a product fault or failure covered by Australian Consumer Law, your applicable consumer rights and remedies will apply.

European Union 14-Day Cooling-Off Period

For eligible online purchases shipped to consumers in the European Union, where EU consumer rules apply, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods, without providing a reason.

Please contact FIND Collective within this 14-day period if you wish to exercise this right.

Returned jewellery must be handled only as necessary to establish its nature and characteristics and should be returned in its original condition and packaging where possible.

The customer is responsible for the cost of returning goods under the 14-day cooling-off period unless otherwise agreed or required by law.

The 14-day cooling-off right does not generally apply to goods that have been made to order or clearly personalised, including jewellery made specifically to an individual size or specification.

This cooling-off period is separate from your rights if an item is faulty or does not conform to your order.
