Collection: Karin Beaumont
Karin Beaumont is a Tasmanian jeweller and former Antarctic marine scientist whose work is shaped by a lifelong fascination with the structures and patterns of the natural world. Her early jewellery practice grew from the microscopic forms she encountered through scientific research in Antarctica.
Over time, her work has expanded to reflect experiences across Antarctica, Lutruwita / Tasmania and mainland Australia, finding connections between landscapes that appear vastly different. Repetition, structure and natural pattern remain central to her practice, alongside an enduring concern for environmental conservation and connection.
