These bangles are inspired by the shape of Euglena, a single-celled creature that can photosynthesise like a plant but also eat other food like an animal. They inhabit both fresh and salt water.

Available in a combination of silver and brass, and widths of 2mm or 3mm.

Karin Beaumont was inspired to make jewellery by having seen the beauty of microscopic life while undertaking her PhD in Antarctica. She recognised as a scientist that she was privileged to appreciate these unique forms and wanted to share the beauty and importance of these creatures with others.
