Distant Relative Ring
Distant Relative Ring
This ring is inspired by a form of zooplankton known as larvaceans. These creatures belong to a phylum closely related to that of humans, and their tail is believed to resemble the human spine. Larvaceans play an important role in feeding bottom-dwelling animals and in regulating our global climate.
Customers say this ring is extremely comfortable to wear. This design is especially suited to larger fingers of any gender.
Available in three sizes: Small (size M), Medium (size O), Large (size R1/2).
Can be sized to order for sizes L to S. Please select Custom Size and leave a note with your size at checkout.

Meet the maker
Karin Beaumont
Karin Beaumont was inspired to make jewellery by having seen the beauty of microscopic life while undertaking her PhD in Antarctica. She recognised as a scientist that she was privileged to appreciate these unique forms and wanted to share the beauty and importance of these creatures with others.
