Tanja von Behrens is a Canberra born Tasmanian Jeweller whose creative practice unites a love of making by hand and a strong connection to the natural world. Textures, colours and forms found in nature are recurring elements in her work.

Working with Sterling Silver, Copper, Brass, Titanium, remnant materials and found or recycled objects, Tanja considers both the history and environmental cost of the materials she uses. Her pieces reflect a thoughtful approach to making and the desire to create work that is valued over time.
