On Tyndall Beach

I've spent countless hours wandering the sands of Tyndall Beach over the last decade - wondering at the plant and birdlife in the sheltered bushland; looking out over ever-changing sands, waters and skies and throwing sticks and balls for our beach loving dogs. So many memories live here. This work pays homage to a place that has witnessed happiness and laughter - and nurtured and held in times of loss and sorrow. With both dogs now sadly gone, my relationship to Tyndall has changed. Visits have become much less frequent. This piece is a reminder of the joy & magic - and creates a pull to return.
